Pallet Wrapping Machines – Frequently asked questions

When you want to purchase a pallet wrapping machine there are always a number of questions that you will ask. This is a list of the most frequently asked questions:
1. Are the machines CE marked? – All of our machines are CE marked and each machine comes with a Certificate of Conformity ensuring that our machines comply to all the current directives.
2. What size turntable should I use? – Our standard turntables come in the 1650mm diameter format, this is the minimum turntable size for a 1000mm x 1200m pallet. If you look at a 1500mm turntable you should only use euro pallets on this to ensure that there is no hangover of the pallet on the turntable which would create a Health and Safety risk. All pallets should sit within the turntable diameter.
3. What warranty do I get? – Our machines are sold with a 2 year parts and labour warranty (Terms and Conditions do apply)
4. How much is delivery, installation and training on your machine?- The price of delivery, installation and training is normally included in the quoted price. Unfortunately any non-mainland installations or those in the far north of Scotland would attract an additional delivery cost.
5. Do the machines come with any spare parts?- Unfortunately the answer is no, however, you would not need any for our machines as they are built to a very high quality and made to last.
6. Can I see a machine in operation?- Yes, we hold stock of machines and we can quickly organise an on-site demonstration on your own product so that you can see just how well the machine works.
7. Will the standard photo cell work for black film as well as clear film? – No, if you wish to use black film for your product then you will need to have a special photo cell fitted.
