Packaging Machinery Direct UK Ltd are very proud to annouce the completed installation a new Ciclone power pre-stretch pallet wrapping machine into Pukka Pies of Leicester.
This machine replaces a core brake tension machine which was mechanically deficient and was hardly stretching the film prior to application. Our new Ciclone power pre-stretch machine stretches the new Hitec, multi-layered film to provide 6000 metres of usable film. Once the production team at Pukka saw the savings it was a no-brainer to purchase the machine.
The automatic film cut off device reduced 50% of labour time associated with jumping out of the forklift and breaking the film manually, after the wrapping cycle has finished.
