Solutions for wrapping a small number of pallets per day

  If you are in a position of having to send out your products on a pallet and need to wrap the pallet to keep your goods secure, clean and dry then there are options for you to consider. The obvious option is to use hand pallet wrap film which is applied by one of your staff, who would need to be walking around the pallet several times, whilst tensioning the hand film and layering the film gradually upwards from the base of the pallet.
  The problem with this method is that far more film is used than would normally be required but also your operative would get extremely tired, dizzy and eventually complain of back pain. The level of tension would also vary as manual application cannot maintain constant tension.

  Alternatively you can use a walk around mobile pallet wrapping machine such as the Wrapman, which is pushed around the pallet but the machine keeps a regular tension on the film and the carriage moves upwards gradually to wrap from the bottom of the pallet to the top.
